Privacy Statement for the MBHP Website

The Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership (MBHP) website ( may be used to help MBHP Members learn more about getting help with life issues that are often sensitive, emotional, and private. It also may be used by MBHP network providers to assist them in providing care and services to our Members. This Privacy Statement describes MBHP privacy and security policies for this website only; if you are interested in our Privacy Practices and Protected Health Information, please see "Your Privacy" tab under "For Members" on our website.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By using this website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Statement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Statement, please do not use the MBHP website and exit the website immediately. MBHP collects Personally Identifiable Information (information that could be used to tell us who you are) given to us through the MBHP website from MBHP network providers and Members such as name, address, email or other identifying information. We use the information given to us on our website from our Members to respond to any requests our Members make for newsletters and other health materials via our online order forms. We use information that is given to us on our website by MBHP network providers for operational purposes. Members who do not want their Personally Identifiable Information collected from them via our website may do so by requesting health materials by phone. Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information

MBHP is the sole owner of any information collected on the MBHP website. We will not sell, share, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise provide this information to independent third parties in ways different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Statement.

We may share a de-identified summary (information that does not allow you to be identified or contacted) of demographic and profile information about visitors to the MBHP website with state agencies, MassHealth and other clients of MBHP. For example, MBHP may provide information to MassHealth and other clients of MBHP about how many people use our website and what features of the website they use. The summary information we share is not linked to any Personally Identifiable Information.

We may disclose Personally Identifiable Information (information that could be used to tell us who you are) to any person performing audit, legal, operational or other services for us.
